About Me

I am Past President of Armadale Society of Artists www.armadalesocietyofartists.com.au and have been a member since 2002. On leaving school in England I attended Taunton College of Art, where I studied design and drawing. After getting married at 20 years of age and having a family my art took a back seat, I moved to Australia in 1972 and started a business with my husband, art was still on the back seat ! After retiring  several years ago I have been able to unlock my passion for art again, starting with acrylics and pastels. I have now discovered the beauty of watercolour and mixed media collage, and I am hooked. For the past 15 years I have been going to as many workshops that I can fit in, there are just not enough hours in the day!

I am now developing my own style, and some of my paintings are now in private collections in America, U.K., NewZealand and Australia, and I conduct workshops and classes in mixed media collage, at The Art House and Gallery, 63 Railway Ave., Kelmscott.

"I hope I will never want to stop learning, I feel alive and free when I am painting, I only wish I had made the time to carry on with my art when I left College, but I'm making up for lost time now, most of my work is done in a studio at the Art House, 63 Railway Ave., Kelmscott, usually on Friday Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 3pm, you are welcome to call in and say hello.

I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings, and know that they are painted with love"
